Titan Consulting Group, LLC is committed to upholding a culture of responsible and ethical lending and marketing practices and has chosen to work with lenders and other partners who agree to abide by the following regulations that govern responsible lending and marketing practices. These policies ensure consumers receive fair and equal treatment when seeking lending services.

Truth in Lending Act (TILA)

The Truth in Lending Act or TILA mandates that lenders must disclose to you all terms and conditions of a loan offer before you sign electronically or agree to enter into the loan agreement with the lender. TILA also requires lenders to strictly adhere to all lending laws on a state-by-state basis where they offer loans. TILA helps to ensure transparency in the loan application process and helps consumers clearly understand the terms and conditions under which they agree to repay the loan.

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is a federal law passed in 1970 that regulates the collection of consumers’ credit information, limits access to their credit reports and promotes the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of consumer information contained in the files of consumer reporting agencies.

Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)

The Equal Credit Opportunity Act protects consumers from discrimination when seeking to apply for a loan or obtaining other types of credit. The act specifically prohibits lenders from discriminating against anyone applying for a loan based on their age, race or origin, sex, social or family status, health condition, etc. Regulation B of the act outlines specifies both proper and improper lending practices.

Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)

The Fair Debt Collection Practice Act is a Federal regulation that governs the collection of debts. This act outlines how debt collectors may operate, how they must communicate with you, and the methods and means in which they may contact you. The act also prevents debt collectors from using unfair or deceptive acts and practices to get you to repay a debt. Because Titan Consulting Group, LLC is a marketing company and not a lender and does not broker loans, we will never contact you with regard to the collection of an outstanding debt.

Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act is a Federal regulation that governs how companies may contact consumers via telephone and facsimile devices. While the law was initially enacted to address “Junk Fax” transmissions, it has been updated over the years to include regulations governing text and SMS communications, calls to mobile phones using automated telephone dialing systems and the national Do Not Call List Registry.
